My attorney shall, subject to revocation, have authority to receive confidential information and full power to perform on behalf of the taxpayer all acts that I can perform with respect to all said tax matters, including but not limited to the following acts with respect to the above tax matters: To fully represent the taxpayer in any hearing, determi- nation, and appeal; To receive all notices and other written communications with respect to the taxpayer in proceedings involving the above matters; To enter into any compromise with the Internal Revenue Service; To receive, and to endorse and cash, checks in payment of any refund of Internal Revenue taxes, penalties, or interest; To execute waivers (including offers of waivers) or restrictions on assessment of collection of tax deficien- cies and waivers of notice of disallowance of a claim for credit or refund; To execute consents extending the statutory period for assessment or collection of taxes; To execute closing agreements under section 7121 of the Internal Revenue Code; To delegate authority or to substitute another represen- tative; To prepare, sign, any file any such tax return, claim, election, or agreement to extend the period of limita- tions for judicial proceedings, and sign any power of attorney form appointing an agent required by the Internal Revenue Service; and To make any income tax, estate tax, gift tax, generation- skipping tax, or other tax elections which I could make. 16.
