202405035 <br />Management, was briefly self-employed and (at the time of the hearing) was working for <br />Hamilton Net. Defendant's earnings are now substantially lower than they were at the time of <br />separation. <br />After the filing of this case, the Plaintiff was awarded custody of the minor children, <br />child support of $1,251 a month and temporary spousal support in the amount of $1,100. The <br />Defendant is in arrears on both temporary orders. <br />The Plaintiff contends the Defendant has deliberately changed jobs to lower his income. <br />Plaintiff further argues that the Defendant has gambled away his and the family's resources. The <br />Defendant denies extensive gambling and offered a number of reasons why he changed jobs in <br />good faith. <br />The parties were unable to resolve any issues relating to the end of the marriage except <br />physical custody. <br />I. THE MARRIAGE OF THE PARTIES <br />The Court finds it has personal jurisdiction over the parties and subject matter jurisdiction <br />over this action. The Court finds that the marriage of the parties entered into on September 25, <br />1999, in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, is irretrievably broken and the same should be <br />and hereby is dissolved. <br />Except for review on appeal, remarriage, and continuation of the health insurance <br />coverage, this Decree shall become final and operative 30 days after this Decree is filed or on the <br />date of death of one of the parties, whichever occurs first. For purposes of remarriage, neither <br />Plaintiff nor Defendant may marry anyone anywhere in the world for six months after this <br />Decree is filed with the Clerk of the District Court.
