202001655 <br />a. Lot thirty-seven (37) of Amick Acres, and Lot twenty-four (24) of Amick <br />Acres Second Subdivision shall be deeded by Renee J. Amick mid John W. Amick to the <br />Association upon the approval of the amended protective covenants by a requisite <br />majority of the Owners of the Amick Acres Subdivision and the Amick Acres 2nd <br />Subdivision. Renee J. Amick and John W. Amick, may at their discretion, deed Lot ten <br />(10) of Amick Acres (park lot) to the Association. <br />b. EXEMPTION: No part of any lands owned by Renee J. Amick, or John <br />W. Amick, or their subsequent heirs, succesors or assigns, that are adjacent to any of the <br />Lots or Common Areas of Amick Acres, or the Amick Acres 2nd Subdivision shall be <br />subject to the restrictions of these protective covenants, UNLESS any such lands are <br />subdivided and sold subsequent to the adoption of these amended covenants. <br />c. In the event that any land adjacent to the Amick Acres Subdivision, or the <br />Amick Acres 2nd Subdivision, that is owned by Renee J. Amick, or John W. Amick, or <br />their heirs, successors or assigns is subdivided, then such Lot(s) that may be created shall <br />become a member(s) of the Amick Acres Homeowners Association, with voting rights, <br />and subject to all the restrictions, assessments, annual fees and other conditions and rules <br />of these protective covenants. <br />2. General Restriction and Other Provisions. <br />(a) No new, or previously owned/used, trailer house or mobile home will be <br />permitted on any Lot, unless otherwise agreed to by the Board of Directors. <br />(b) Nothing in this section is intended to restrict the right of any Lot Owner to <br />rent or lease the Owner's Lot from time to time or to engage any person, firm or <br />corporation to rent or lease said Lot, nor shall any provision hereof be deemed to prohibit <br />an Owner from keeping his or her personal business or professional records or accounts <br />therein, or handling his or her personal business calls or correspondence therefrom. <br />(c) No animals, livestock, or poultry of any kind shall be raised, bred, or kept <br />on any Lot, other than non -exotic household pets, without the approval of the Board of <br />Directors. All pets shall be leashed, or confined to the Owner's Lot, when outside of the <br />residential structure or patio area. No such pet shall be kept, bred, or maintained for any <br />commercial purposes. The Board of Directors shall make reasonable rules and <br />regulations for the accommodation of pets. <br />(d) Permanent fences must be residential in nature, such as chain link or <br />privacy fencing. Such fences must be on the side or back yard, but shall not obstruct the <br />neighbor's view of the lake. <br />(e) No vehicles that are not currently licensed shall be stored on a lot. <br />Maintenance on vehicles that require more than two (2) days shall be done in the confines <br />of the garage. <br />(f) Signs such as "for sale," or "garage sale," and voting signs shall be <br />allowed on a temporary basis. Signs larger than two (2) feet by three (3) feet will not be <br />permitted. <br />
