To prepare, sign and file (on my behalf) and to jointly file with others if <br />advisable, federal, state, or local, income, gift, or other tax returns of any kind, to claim for <br />refunds, to request for extensions of time, to petition to the tax courts or other courts regarding <br />tax matters, and to sign any and all tax related documents, including, without limitation, receipts, <br />offers, waivers, consents (including, but not limited to, consents and agreements under Internal <br />Revenue Code Section 2032A, or any successor section thereto), powers of attorneys, closing <br />agreements; and to exercise any elections I may have under any tax law; and to generally act in <br />my behalf in all tax matters of all kinds, and for all periods before all persons representing any <br />taxing authority, including signing on my behalf a power of attorney directed to the Internal <br />Revenue Service, including the receipt of confidential information and the posting of bonds and <br />to represent me or others I am responsible for in all such proceedings. <br />24. To exercise any right which I might have to renounce or disclaim any interest in <br />property; to exercise my right to claim an elective share; or to claim any homestead or family <br />allowance, or exempt property allowance. <br />25. To exercise any right to elect benefit or payment options, to terminate, to change <br />beneficiaries or ownership, to assign rights, to borrow or receive cash value in return for the <br />surrender of any or all rights under any of the following: <br />a) Life insurance or annuity policies, plans or benefits which I might own; <br />b) Mutual funds and other dividend investment plans which I might be a <br />party to or have ownership in; <br />c) Retirement, profit sharing, and employee welfare plans and benefits, <br />including pension plans which I might have an interest in; and <br />d) Any other similar type of fund or account. <br />26. To exercise any right, power or privilege reserved to me, or which I might <br />exercise under any trust. <br />27. To expend or distribute any income or principal for the support, education, care or <br />benefit of me and my dependents or anyone I am responsible for, without regard to other sources <br />of income. <br />28. To continue with or commence gifting programs. My attorney-in-fact may make <br />gifts of any of my property, whether real or personal, outright or in trust, including the formation <br />of new trust entities. Gifts may be given for the benefit for all or a portion of the members of my <br />family including my attorney-in-fact Anna M. Crumrine, Diane Krajewski, and Rod Crumrine. <br />Gifts may also be made to other persons or entities. Property transferred under this section to <br />any donee in any calendar year shall not exceed the maximum amount allowable as a tax free <br />transfer, or allowable as an annual exclusion, or as may be allowed under the Unified Estate and <br />
