DISCUSS AND APPROVE RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SALE OF PARCELS NUMBERS 3,4,5,6 AND 7 AT CAAP: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz prepared this resolution so the Army can proceed with the sales of parcels 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Landis made a motion and Logan seconded to approve Resolution # 00-0058 requesting the sale of parcels #3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 at the Corrihusker Army Ammunition Plant. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Lahdis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #00- 005 g A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SALE OF PARCELS # 3, 4,5,6, AND 7 AT THE CORNHUSKER ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT WHEREAS, Public Law 103-337, sec. 2836 authorizes the Secretary of the Army to convey to the Hall County Nebraska Board of Supervisors or its designee all right, title and interest of the United States in and to the real property that is the site of the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant, hereinafter referred to as "CAAP," for fair market value, said property to be used in a manner consistent With the CAAP Reuse Committee's Comprehensive Reuse Plan, hereinafter referred to as the "Reuse Plan"; and WHEREAS, on October 18, 1999, the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse Committee adopted a motion recommending in part the sale of the following described property to be sold by the Army Corps of Engineers to the highest bidder(s) by public sale, to wit: Parcel numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 as depicted in exhibit "A," attached hereto; NOW BE IT RESOLVED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby requests that the above described property be sold to the highest bidder or bidders by competitive public sales conducted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, said property to be used in a manner or manners consistent with this resolution and the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse Plan. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that said parcels be surveyed by the County with the cost of said survey charged by the Corps of Engineers to the purchasers of said parcels. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that said parcels be sold subject to such easements, restrictions, and grants of right of way as approved by the CAAP Reuse Committee and the Corps of Engineers.
