<br />10:23 a.m. Jeffries made a motion and Hartman seconded to go out of executive
<br />session. Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and
<br />none voted no. Arnold was absent for the vote. Motion carried.

<br />Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to refer the performance evaluation to the
<br />personnel committee. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and
<br />Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to refer the bids for the office space back to
<br />the long range planning committee and to re-advertise for office space for a bid opening
<br />on September 24,2002 at 10:30 and 10:35 a.m. The bidders from the August 27 bid
<br />opening will be notified that they can submit another bid but the previous bids will be
<br />retained. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted
<br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. A letter will be mailed to the previous bidders
<br />informing them of this decision.

<br />6 10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING COUNTY BUDGET - Jeffries made a motion and
<br />Logan seconded to open the public hearing for the county budget. Arnold, Eriksen,
<br />Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.

<br />Chairman Lancaster called for public comments and no one responded.

<br />6b DISCUSS AND APPROVE 1% ADDITIONAL ALLOWABLE INCREASE - Jeffries
<br />made a motion and Humiston seconded to approve the additional 1 % increase. Arnold,
<br />Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted
<br />no. Motion carried.

<br />6c DISCUSS AND APPROVE HALL COUNTY BUDGET - Chairman Lancaster called
<br />for discussion and no one responded. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries,
<br />Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />6d PUBLIC HEARING FINAL COUNTY TAX REQUEST FOR COUNTY BUDGET
<br />RATES - Jeffries made a motion and Eriksen seconded to open the public hearing for
<br />the final county tax request. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and
<br />Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
