<br />f200205~~2 <br /> <br />2a COUNTY ATTORNEY APPROVE SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR LUZENAC III SUB- <br />County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz stated that this is the 35 foot strip of land that was <br />purchased for the other access road for the Luzenac property. He is requesting the <br />board to approve and sign this plat. Logan made a motion and Arnold seconded to <br />approve the final plat and authorize the chair to sign. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and Kelly <br />Bair with People and Animals Working in Sync requested to speak to the board. He <br />stated that he had concerns on the comments that were made in the newspaper after <br />the keno applications in July. He tried to contact the newspaper and they have not <br />responded to his phone calls. He stated he wants to address the comments that were <br />made in the paper on the reputation of his company. He provided the board members <br />with pictures and handouts on his organization and invited the board members to come <br />out and see his place of business and observe what the kids in his program do and how <br />this is a benefit to the community. He encourages his kids to do things the right way and <br />he does things the right way. Two of the certified trainers for People and Animals <br />Working in Sync were present and spoke in support of the program. She also invited the <br />County Board to come out and see what is going on. <br /> <br />Don Kelly was present and questioned why the issue on the rail tracks at the Hall County <br />Airport was not on the agenda. Lancaster stated that this was referred to the county <br />attorney but it was not addressed yet. Mr. Kelly stated he received a letter from Attorney <br />Ron Depue concerning the claim. Mr. Kelly stated that this is a serious matter and he <br />wants to know if the county can have the easement in question deeded back to him. He <br />also mentioned that the airport leased more ground to Emsulfied Asphalt and now they <br />want more tracks. Hartman stated that the county board needs to have an answer from <br />the county attorney and he may not have had time. Jeffries stated that he was at the <br />airport and looked at the Emsulfied Asphalt location and expressed concern that the <br />vehicles that were there were not licensed in Nebraska. <br /> <br />This matter will be referred to the County Attorney. <br /> <br />4 EXECUTIVE SESSION LONG RANGE PLANNING REAL ESTATE NEGOTIATIONS <br />8 EXECUTIVE SESSION PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS - Jeffries made a motion <br />and Logan seconded to go into executive session for the real estate negotiations and the <br />performance evaluation. Discussion was held. Jeffries amended his motion and Logan <br />seconded to go into executive session for the performance evaluation. Arnold, Eriksen, <br />Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to go into executive session for the real <br />estate negotiations.
