If they increase unused authority, then they must increase the <br /> levy this seems to be counterproductive. <br /> Quandt noted they must address placing a cap on valuation increases. <br /> Bredthauer expressed concern on the environmental trusts and taking acres out of <br /> production, this takes the land off the tax rolls and increases taxes for everyone else. <br /> The board thanked Jon for the information. <br /> 6.9:30 a.m. BID OPENING FOR HALL COUNTY RURAL TRANSIT - Sorensen made a <br /> motion and Bredthauer seconded to open the bids for Hall County Rural Transit. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes, and no one voted no.
