Karen ask what they are upset about. <br /> Don said that they do not want the money under the control of Hall County. <br /> Richardson noted that the money goes back to the general fund it is in a line item and <br /> the Gary said the only money that has been spent is for Don's salary. <br /> County Attorney read 80-101.1 A gives the veterans' service committee the authority to <br /> determine how much is necessary to provide aid to veterans including food, shelter, <br /> fuel, rent wearing apparel medical or dental services. It is budget dollars that are that <br /> to serve veterans. The veterans Service committee shall certify to the county board the <br /> necessary fund that will be needed. There are the additional funds that they are talking <br /> about and those fund can be vested in a separate line item for veterans' costs and the <br /> boar could determine who has control over those funds. So Quandt's motion properly <br /> considers this. <br /> Richardson questioned the expenses and what is purchased is under the county <br /> purchasing policy and ask if the committee should follow the purchasing act. <br /> Lancaster noted we know the amount dollar amount of the contracts not Hall County <br /> money. <br /> 4 <br />
