the first floor has been framed out and they are starting to hang sheetrock. Some of the <br /> sheetrock did get wet from the storms, so it was replaced. The fire suppression is <br /> plumbed in, they are hooking up the air handlers and installing duct work. The <br /> basement bathroom is being tiled. They also have the stairs installed so they can walk <br /> up and down to the other floors. The footings for the sally port have been poured and <br /> they are replacing some concrete by the Annex Building. <br /> Peterson said that the building committee meets every week and he and Jane are on <br /> the committee with the architects, Olssons and they have been impressed with the <br /> organization. Ron said he has ask Pam and Scott to serve on the committee because <br /> he and Jane will be not be here. He also noted that the new building may be done in <br /> May but it will take another 9 months for the remodel of the Courthouse. <br /> Discussion was held on LB663 and Karen noted that there has to be designated routes <br /> of travel in the condition use permits. NACO currently has a study session to address <br /> the issues in the proposed legislation. It does not affect the curet permits but after July <br /> 18, 2026 there will be some changes. <br /> 14 E) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTIO AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN RESOLUTION <br /> #26-020 FOR THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PLATTE VALLEY WOOD <br /> RESOURCES (APPROVED APRIL 21, 2026) Sorensen made a motion and Bredthauer <br /> seconded to approve Resolution #20-026 for the conditional use permit for Platte Valley <br /> Wood Resources. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes, and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 13 <br />
