Motion carried <br /> County Attorney Marty Klein ask if there would be an inspection once the work is done <br /> and Loren said they could have the same company do the inspection. Quandt noted <br /> that these are the drains pipes that will be changed. <br /> The public hearing for Platte Valley Wood Resources was held but the resolution was <br /> not approved. County Attorney Marty Klein said he has worked with Janet and has the <br /> resolution completed and he emailed it to the board members for approval. <br /> Loren said he has some concerns regarding the vote on the issue on park revenue <br /> Employees from his department help at the park and he has some questions from some <br /> employees regarding this how do we account for the money that they are proposing to <br /> use. There are several issues that need to be discussed before moving forward he has <br /> heard from this employees and they will get extra money for the park they have to go <br /> through the budget system. He would just like some clarifications. <br /> Lancaster said he is still in charge of the budget and questioned if they have concerns <br /> that the facilities building are not funded. <br /> Loren ask if these funds are going through building and land fund. Everything will be <br /> approved by him. Kim stated that he will still have to approve the claims and the board <br /> will approve the budget. <br /> Loren said they did not receive much storm damage just some branches. <br /> 15. COURTHOUSE PROJECT— DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE <br /> CHANGES FOR OFFICE SPACE IN THE OLD COURTHOUSE FOR THE JUDGES <br /> OFFICES Peterson noted that the district court judges wanted to revise their office <br /> space in the Courthouse and they ask Steve Severson to come back with some plans <br /> and they selected option #B. Ron said it makes some sense the way they have <br /> arranged and there will be some costs. Before they moved forward they ask Kyle from <br /> Chief an estimate of the cost and he said about $26,000 it makes sense what they are <br /> proposing. <br /> Richardson made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the changes for the <br /> district court judge's office space. Hurst, Lancaster, Peterson, Richardson and <br /> Sorensen all voted yes and Bredthauer and Quandt voted no.
