Bend Road for the detour while they fix the bridge. They are considering tubes or a box culvert. They are currently working on Project 573. They have 2 crews removing trees on Denman Road from the storm. They are getting them off the roads and cleaning up the ditches and hauling it away. He noted that there were some signs that were flattened so they were repaired. He also noted that there was a complaint on a bridge and they cut the approach down to address the problem. Quandt ask about the potholes on Schultz Road if they had been patched. He also ask about the fences and Don said that is a winter project and they will continue to get the fences out of the Right of Way. Lancaster also ask about the potholes told the person to call the road department She ask that Don check on it. Don reported that they will remove a section of road where they will be running the marathon. The tree roots have pushed up the road and the only way to fix it is to cut the roots and repave it. 6A COUNTY ATTORNEY— a) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE TWO VACANCIES ON THE HALL COUNTY WEED BOARD — Weed Superintendent Rob Schultz was present and said they have 2 vacancies that need to be filled 1 inside the city limits and outside the city limits. There are currently 2 applications for inside the city limits and Rob said they do have 1 person interested and they are talking to him. They will have to file by July 15 for the general election. Sorensen ask to add weed board interviews to the June 30, 2026, agenda. 8.FACILITIES — DISUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING HALL COUNTY ATTORNEY -BUILDING — Loren Humphrey explained the problems with the attorney building. This addressed the fan coils in each room and the pipes that drain to the center of the building. The pipes are galvanized steel and there is condensation on the pipes and some of the pipes have rusted shut so they will no longer drain. It causes humidity in the building, and the pipes are leaking on the ceiling tile. Some of the insulation had to be removed and they had to repair pipes that were leaking. It has also caused mold in the building. There are 3 options to make the repairs. • Continue as they are with the fans in the ceilings and wait until fall to make the repairs when they shut down the air conditioning. • Empty out the building, relocate the staff remove all the ceilings and make the repairs all at once • Shut down part of the building and relocate people, make the repairs on part of it and then move staff back and work on the other side. 4
