Motion carried. <br /> 9:05 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:08 a.m. Adjourned Boad of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 11.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO DECLARE COUNTY ASSESSOR'S <br /> VEHICLES AS SURPLUS 2013 AND SELL OR DISPOSE OF AND APPROVE <br /> RESOLUTION 26-016 <br /> A) 2013 Ford Explorer <br /> B) 2016 Ford Taurus <br /> C) 2017 Ford Taurus <br /> County Assessor Kristi Wold said she is requesting to dispose of the 3 vehicles because <br /> of maintenance costs. On one the battery will not stay charged and one has <br /> transmission problem. She had taken them to the Road Department to have them look <br /> at them. <br /> Sorensen ask if there is one that they could possibly hold back to use. <br /> Quandt question if they get rid of all 3 would they need another vehicle. Kristi said they <br /> still have the Crown Vic that runs. <br /> Discussion was held and Sorensen suggested that they could hold one back. It was <br /> suggested to check and find one that will run and is safe to drive. <br /> Peterson noted that the Ford Taurus vehicles are known for transmission problems. <br /> Kristi will do some checking and come back in 2 weeks. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chair Peterson called for public participation, and no one <br /> responded. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS — UPDATE Don Robb said they have been working with Merrick <br /> County on the bridge removal on Gunbarrel Road. He said they are scheduled to go <br /> out for bids on July 9 or 10th and will get back with Hall County. They will use Shady <br /> 3 <br />
