Humphrey stated they plan to hire more people, bringing more jobs to Hall <br /> County. <br /> 5 DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING PUBLIC HEARING, FOR <br /> PLATTE VALLEY WOOD RESOURCES CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. Sorensen <br /> made a motion to approve the application for a Conditional Use permit for Platte <br /> Valley Wood Resources for composting of green waste. Richardson seconded <br /> the motion. Motion carried <br /> 8B PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE-Don Robb stated they are paving Husker Hwy; they <br /> started out on Hwy 11. They milled the fist mile yesterday and finished the second <br /> chunk of the mile right off Husker and Schuappsville, finishing shouldering out on Airport <br /> Road. Robb stated they are grading on Schuappsville north of Husker then will move <br /> down north of Husker. Cleaning the ditches down in the Doniphan area with a rubber <br /> tire excavator. Robb stated at the Grand Island area metro meeting they discussed the <br /> turning lane on Highway 30 and it is set for 2029. <br /> 9C) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO MOVE ADULT PROBATION TO THE <br /> FEDERAL BUILDING-Loren Humphrey and Marc Kohmetscher stated Marc would <br /> like to move adult probation to the Federal building. This proposal does not include <br /> electrical work or plumbing work or HVAC work in the building. Marc stated <br /> he wanted to keep the cost to a minimum and there wasn't a lot of redesign or <br /> anything. Just using the existing spaces was the whole idea, because I like the <br /> open area. Most of the stuff in their proposal is the first floor behind the elevator to <br /> set up a reception area and some meeting rooms for officers. <br /> to because they're probably going to be likely we're going to have them in cubicle <br /> settings in large open areas. They'll come down to the first floor to meet with clients <br /> It's a safety aspect too. It's about $48,000 for the actual construction cost to build <br /> those rooms and the reception area. <br /> Peterson asked you feel like there's enough space there for your entire staff to <br /> move over from the building you're in currently? <br />
