He seemed satisfied with the work that has been done and <br /> it will work for the county. They were concerned about flooding. There is natural <br /> drainage and they are farming the ditches so the drainage does not happen as fast it <br /> takes longer for the water to go away. Lancaster ask if it would be a problem but don <br /> said this will get the water there a little slower. <br /> Don stated that Mason and Robb completed the first 2 weeks of bridge class and it was <br /> more in depth the next part is more hands on. They have <br /> had problems with Century Link and it hard to get them out so before they do any more <br /> permitting hey need to have a contact to talk to. If it was criminal this would be referred to the <br /> biologist there is no significant impact at this time to move the gate. Don showed a <br /> picture there was an eagle sitting in the tree that issue is good to go for now. <br /> Richardson ask if he has 2 going to bridge school and Don said he does there were 2 <br /> openings. The 2 employees volunteered and the state had 2 openings need to have <br /> someone down the line with a license. They have 5 years of apprenticeship to get their <br /> license so it is important to get them going and have someone in place for the future. <br /> He also noted that LTAP does not charge for any of the training they also reimburse the <br /> county for any meals and lodging so there is no cost to the county. <br /> Don said he did receive a letter from Bob Barker regarding a drainage problem he met <br /> with him on the 22nd and addressed the problem and will get the attorney up to speed <br /> the problem was addressed and taken care of.
