Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE — Don Robb reported that they finished the culvert on <br /> Bismark Road and are finishing filing and will start grading. He reported that they have <br /> 10 miles of gravel to complete for this year. <br /> There are also some abandoned rail lines on Old Potash Road that they would like to <br /> remove. They some old Application lines and he talked to them and they have no <br /> problem to remove these rail lines. Don said they called him and they can start next <br /> week. They would have to close the road for a few hours. He altered the radio station <br /> that they were going to close the road for 4 hours to remove them. <br /> They are working on the asphalt on Bismark Road and have finished Gunbarrel Road <br /> and will start the shoulder work. There was a lot of traffic so they will start today. He <br /> also talked to a person on Linden Road regarding some trees blocking the site distance <br /> on a stop sign the person said he did not have a problem to trim the cedar trees. Don <br /> said they have good luck working with people. <br /> They are also working on the design and he water flow for 3 box culvers to get them <br /> started. There are 2 in Wood River and 1 on Old Potash Highway. He is going to call <br /> Contech Engineered Solutions to see if they would honor the price from the bid opening <br /> in March. He also reported that they have completed 227 miles of gravel and are <br /> starting the asphalt patching next week. <br /> 9 <br />
