The county does not have a crane operator anymore. There is a bucket, cable <br /> and a clam shell that were not on the inventories and he ask how to declare them as <br /> surplus. Quandt ask if they could be sold as iron. Scott and Karen said they are worth <br /> a lot. The crane was sold and the people who bought it were asking about the <br /> additional equipment. This pieces may have been purchased when they purchased the <br /> crane and have not been used. <br /> Sorensen made a motion and Richardson seconded to declare the drag bucket, clam <br /> shell and cable as surplus. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster noted she finds items that are not on inventories some are just missed. <br /> Sarah ask if the value would be $2,500.00. Don stated it would be more at auction. It <br /> could be listed a group to see what they are worth. <br /> 11. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING ROAD GRADER PURCHASE <br /> Mr. Peterson said Don ask to put this on the agenda for discussion. Don said he looked <br /> at the bids and talked to Murphy Tractor and if the county would be interested in <br /> purchasing additional graders off of the state bid they would be 14 to 18 months out. <br /> 6 <br />
