8b INCREASE MEDICAL PREMIUMS BY 5% - Bredthauer made a motion and Sorensen seconded to approve the 5% increase in the premiums with Berkley Life & Health. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried 8cINCREASE DENTAL PREMIUM TO A FLAT RATE OF $30.00 FOR SINGLE & $90.00 FOR FAMILY PER MONTH — Bredthauer made a motion and Sorensen seconded to increase the single dental premium to $30.00 and family premium to $90.00. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried Matt noted that the dental premiums had not changed for a long time but during COVID the dental community saw price increases. There was also the dental PPO that was introduced last year. If a PPO provider is used the employee can see additional dollars available for dental procedures. In the past the health insurance was absorbing the increases in the dental claims. There were no dental plan changes. 8D KEEP LIFE PREMIUMS THE SAME — Bredthauer made a motion and Sorensen seconded to leave the Life Insurance premiums the same. There were no plan changes. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried Matt stated that there some COVID changes that have already been addressed. These will stay in place until there are changes regarding the national emergency. 9DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE AUDIT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION FOR LUTZ TO CONDUCT A SPECIAL AUDIT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT— Kayla Schulte with Lutz was present. The audit committee recommended to do the special audit. Kayla stated she does not have the engagement letter for this special audit but will provide one. This will be effective as of April 18, 2022 when the new director started. Lancaster made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the special audit for the Road Department. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried 12 PUBLIC WORKS — Highway Superintendent Don Robb was present. 12B) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION FOR APPROVAL TO PURCHASE LAND PRIDE RCM5014 OFFSET MOWER FROM GRAND KUBOTA FOR $31,429,97 USING SOURCE WELL CONTRACT #070821-LPI — Don stted there are 76 miles of asphalt roads and this mower does not have the bat wings it just mows the shoulders of the roads. The funds for this purchase are in the current budget. Sorensen made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the purchase of the Land Pride mower. This will lock in the current price because the cost could go up 18%. 7
