This was discussed with the union and hoping to get the <br /> upgrade. <br /> Quandt thanked Vicki for taking time to help this individual he is doing well now. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to accept the bids and refer them to <br /> the public defender. Motion carried. <br /> 13 D) DISCUSSION & CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF $7,022 PURCHASE OF <br /> TIRES FROM POMP'S TIRE SERVICE INC. OF GRAND ISLAND - Sorensen stated <br /> the Road Department went through the inventory and will need additional tires. They <br /> have quotes and propose to purchase 5 different tires but the proposal from Pomp's <br /> was the lowest but it was over the $5,000.00 so they are bringing it to the county board <br /> for approval. <br /> Bredthauer stated that the funds are in the budget. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the purchase for the tires <br /> from Pomp's Tire Service for $7,022.00. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 4 <br />
