10.10:00 A.M. BID OPENING DATE FOR 2022 SPRING ASPHALT RESURFACING — Quandt made a motion and Sorensen seconded to open the bids for the 2022 spring asphalt resurfacing. Bredthauer, Hurt, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. Mr. Riehle stated that his estimate was $774,000.00 The following bids were received. BIDDER GRAND TOTAL BID COMPLETION DATE J.I.L. Construction $887,719.71 September 1, 2022 Gary Smith Construction $700,678.10 May 28, 2022 weather Permitting Mr. Riehle will review the information and come back with a recommendation. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chair Peterson called for public participation and no one responded. 12. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY - chair Peterson stated that some employee have ask about the Juneteenth federal holiday and this is not covered in the new handbook. The sheriff's union ask for the Juneteenth over Arbor Day. He also noted that the Public Defender's union are currently still negotiating and they have the option to use Juneteenth or Arbor Day not both. He noted that you have to have staff in place to work but some can work from home so they can have the option. This has not been approved yet and all employees would not have the option to be able to work from home. Richardson made a motion and Sorensen seconded to not provide Juneteenth as a holiday. Bredthauer, Hurt, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. 21. CLERK/TREASURER DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO CLOSE WELLS FARGO ACCOUNT this is an update from 2 week ago. County Treasurer Alain Verplank stated that on the client analysis from Wells Fargo there no fees in December but the new analysis there were $11.00 in fees. She has also talked to US Bank and initially was told the fee would be $15.99 but since then there re additional wire transfer fees returned check fees so we may not know what the fee may be. In addition to that if there are corrections that need to be made there will be fees. So there are still fees. After additional discussion Alaina and Marla would like to move forward with the ADP Total pay. County Clerk Marl Conley stated she still needs addition information regarding this program and has reached out to the contact person with additional questions and the process to get it set up. ADP had quoted an annual fee of$3,774.00 and she wants to make sure there will not be any other bank fees. Lancaster ask if Alaina would be able to find the total analysis fees that Wells Fargo has charged and she said she would and look at cost comparisons. The Clerk's office, audit 7
