Mr. Bahensky stated that the jail <br /> currently runs close to capacity and that could reduce revenue and increase expenses. It would <br /> be hard to know what the impact would be. He noted that it could have a negative effect on <br /> smaller county jails. DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING BID FOR SOFTWARE FOR <br /> SHERIFF'S OFFICE — Sheriff Conrad and Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen were <br /> present. The County received 2 bids for the software the bid from Permitium was $700.00 a <br /> month with APT at $250.00 up to 3 interfaces. Sarah stated that the Sheriff, attorneys are now <br /> required to file electronically. This should help to reduce the data entry. They gave the county <br /> a suggested contact and she hopes to get it done by the time the board meets this afternoon. <br /> • The dollar amounts are not changing this would address the billing process they would need to <br /> have the data converted. They are offering a 90 day trial period and if it works that would be the <br /> effective date. The value would be the same through 2027.
