Lancaster said they will bring the information but the county has so many needs <br /> Sarah Carstensen noted some of the emails regarding some of the estimates. <br /> Lancaster expressed concern that Sarah is ask every meeting to do more and more she <br /> does a good job at organizing the projects. <br /> Richardson expressed concern that they just keep piling more and more on Sarah her <br /> plate is full. <br /> Bredthauer noted that the ARPA funds are tied to this project along with the airport <br /> project and they know there will be change order for the airport project. <br /> FACILITIES BID OPENING FOR THE 2022 WIDE AREA MOWER — Mr. Humphrey <br /> reviewed the bid for the mower and recommended to accept the bid from Turf Werks <br /> from Omaha, Nebraska for $75,000.00. Discussion was held on the amount that was <br /> budgeted and where the rest of the dollars would come from. They did have money <br /> budgeted and Loren stated he has money in the equipment reserve fund for the pickup <br /> so they could delay that purchase and use some of those dollars. He will check on the <br /> amounts that have been budgeted and find the additional dollars. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Peterson seconded to accept the bid from Turf Werks for <br /> the 2022 mower. The dollars will come out of equipment acquisition and the equipment <br /> reserve fund and miscellaneous general. <br /> Sorensen questioned why they need this type of a mower it is a large mower, it has an <br /> eleven foot deck. Loren stated it will cut the amount of time it takes to mow the park. <br /> Now it takes 5 days to get it mowed so it will cut down the labor costs. They also mow <br /> the cemetery and also use the mower at the administration building. This is a heavy <br /> duty commercial mower <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson all voted yes and <br /> Sorensen voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11 B FACILITIES B.) DISCUSS AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON EASEMENT REQUEST <br /> FROM THE CITY FOR SEWER LINE PROJECT AT CNRA AND HAVE CHAIR SIGN — <br /> This is the first step to move forward with the airport project. It will start moving quickly <br /> after the first of the year. They will work on the dewatering and this could have change <br /> orders. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to authorize he chair to sign the <br /> easement request from the City of Grand Island for the sewer line project. Bredthauer, <br /> Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt was excused from the meeting. <br /> C.) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE ELECTION WINDOW <br /> ADDITIONAL COSTS OF $3,000.00 TO BE TAKEN FROM BUILDING AND LAND <br /> 11 <br />
