There is a limited amount of <br /> inheritance tax dollars but he is OK with this issue. <br /> Richardson stated she agrees with Ron and she would approve. <br /> Lancaster ask Sarah to come back with a resolution regarding this. The county could <br /> draw up a contract with the merchant but it is the best interest for the county to finance it <br /> ourselves. <br /> The vote on the motion was taken Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. They are asking for letters of support for the efforts. This would <br /> be $10,708,444.09 for the proposed funding. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Peterson seconded to send a letter of support the letter that <br /> they sent is a draft and the board could just add the necessary county information. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 6 C.)PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE SORENSEN & BREDTHAUER - Bredthauer reported <br /> that the snow fence is up and they may need to use more salt on the heavy traffic roads <br /> like Gunbarrel. With the recent wind storm they were busy removing trees on the road <br /> and have signs that blew down and they are replacing them. <br /> There was culvert on Airport Road that was compromised and they had to wait for the <br /> shipment of culverts. They need to go out for bids to have them on hand. She reported <br /> that the bridge work is moving forward and the mowing tractors are now in the sheds. <br /> They are continuing to work on the crack sealing they are getting things done and <br /> making progress. She also noted that Steve Riehle is on medical leave so they are <br /> short employees. <br /> 8 <br />
