Bredthauer noted that the bridge on Sky Park road is one of the critical badges and it's <br /> good to get this one off of the list. She also stated that the preliminary plans have been <br /> sent to the NDOT and this is a big step forward. Steve is working with the City of Grand <br /> Island on an interlocal agreement for paving on Potash. <br /> During one of the audits it was noted that the shop welding was moved and they may <br /> look at an overhead door to get access to the welding area. They do have an exhaust <br /> system in the area. <br /> Richardson ask if there is a plan of action for he interviews has it been set for next <br /> Tuesday for the director interviews. There is also the equipment operator and she <br /> questioned if the committee and the foreman were going to address the equipment <br /> operator position. <br /> Lancaster noted they need to address the director position they do not want additional <br /> people to pull out. Discussion was held on the date. It was decided to set the director <br /> interviews for November 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. <br /> The road committee can work on the equipment operator interview. <br /> Bredthauer stated they did have a janitor resign and suggested that the secretary could <br /> do the vacuuming and they could look at hiring an equipment operator instead. The <br /> employees could take care of cleaning up the shop and look at having a person out in <br /> the field. <br /> 10:30 A.M. Held a board of corrections meeting <br /> 10:40 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting and returned to the regular <br /> meeting. <br /> 12. FACILITIES — a) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON COURTHOUSE <br /> EGRESS DOORS — Mr. Humphrey was present and stted there will be a change order <br /> for the egress doors. He met with the contactor and they looked at the doors. He also <br /> checked with the fire marshal and the doors do have to be ADA assessable. They will <br /> look at the inside of the doors and this should not cost any more money. They have <br /> worked through it and it should be satisfactory. Quandt stated he appreciates that <br /> Doone stood up for Hall County the doors should not leak. <br /> Once the doors are done they will be able to do the walk through. <br /> C) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING RENEWAL OF THE <br /> CONTRACT FOR THE WATER TREATMENT SERVICES AT THE FEDERAL <br /> BUILDING — Richardson made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the <br /> contract for the water treatment. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9 <br />
