Loren stated that by October 31st the county has to submit a narrative on the projects <br /> and the need for the projects to address COVID issues. He stated his narratives are <br /> short and he would appreciate having someone work with him on this. <br /> Lancaster stated that they may be able to borrow some language and get it done. <br /> Since the county has committed $5 million some of this will not be done until the <br /> following year. Loren said they still have to submit the reports. <br /> Sarah stated that Sheriff Conrad is needing to update the metal detectors devices that <br /> would allow for more social distancing this could be a permissible purpose to use the <br /> dollars. <br /> 18C) ADD UPGRADE TO HVAC SYSTEMS AT THESE PARTICULAR BUILDINGS- <br /> COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, BELTZER BUILDING, PLAZA BUILDING <br /> Quandt made a motion and Sorensen seconded to approve adding the HVAC upgrades <br /> to the other projects in the Covid American Rescue budget under other projects. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted <br /> yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 18D)DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION TO LEASE A BOBCAT TRACK LOADER <br /> FOR BUILDING & GROUNDS/PARK —this is a renewal have a copy of the lease the <br /> same as last year needs to be signed run about 170 hours used a lot last year for snow <br /> removal. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the lease of the Bobcat <br /> Track Loader for Building & Grounds and Park Departments. Motion carried. <br /> Loran stated there are some problems with the sidewalks at the County Attorney <br /> Building that need to be repaired to meet ADA requirements. He has a quote from <br /> Mike Galvin to replace this concrete and while he is doing that he will repair a block on <br /> the side of the building and an issue with the concrete y the back door of the building. <br /> His bid was $5,000.00. <br /> Gary noted an issue with the fire suppression system. There was a major leak in the <br /> jury room it happened on Sunday night and Loran called the contractor and ask them to <br /> clean it up they vacuumed the water and came back the next morning and sprayed <br /> some mold prevention. The only damage was a ceiling tile and it was replaced last <br /> week and they will have to replace a couple carpet tiles. <br /> Loran stated that Judge Butler has requested a ramp for his bench because of some <br /> surgery He stated they have a ramp from before and will have it installed and put new <br /> carpet on it. <br /> 12 <br />
