They have trimmed the trees on Locust and Schultz road and may need to remove more. They are working with the property owner on the trees on Locust and Lowery. He said that they trimmed trees on Platte River Drive and that has opened up that road and also South Locust Street by Doniphan. They also put signage for a low water crossing road they may consider making this a private road. They are still working with on the line of site issues with the corn and there are a few more places that need to be cut back. Steve said he needs to talk to the property owner and if they remove the trees they will also remove the stumps then they can plant trees as long as they are far enough back.
