14b) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON MOTOR GRADER — Steve Riehle provided a spread sheet for the board members if that is where the board wants to go. He has revised the bid specs to address the items they want added and what they want removed and said he removed some of the various packages. He addressed the grad control package, removed the hitch, all lighting to be LED, addressed door locks, removed security systems, and has a dedicated review camera ask for extended warranty and also for the joy sticks, the high tech rearview cameras, and added if a unit is down for 30 days furnish they are to furnish a loaner and add fuel use credit and also a parts credit no wings for the motor graders dealer preformed maintenance DPF filter took off filter package took off and repurchase agreement was removed will not trade in in 5 years. The other sheet is how many graders to consider purchasing 1 3 or 6. Quandt ask if the spec will be broad enough so all of the vendors will be able to bid. Steve said there are differences on each machine but they want to get 3 bids. Sorensen stated once the budget is approved we need to get moving on this sooner than later.
