Bredthauer said they have not received the annual report. Steve said it is not finished, <br /> they do 2 plans the quarterly and then the annual includes the quarterly information and <br /> the running total for the full year. They are working on it. <br /> Provided the board with information. Steve said that J.I.L is working on the Cairo Road <br /> project and the total retention is $67,539.77 this show where that comes from. They are <br /> grinding Cairo and they will sit down and go over it. Reviewed the report and the <br /> estimates. Karen questioned if a $40,000 payment was made. Steve said they scan all <br /> of the claims. Discussion was held on the amount and Steve said he checked every <br /> payment that was made. A report can be printed showing the payments to the vendors. <br /> Bredthauer ask about the bridge match and Steve said he is still working on that and <br /> has not looked at the minutes. She expressed concern that this has to be done before <br /> December. Pam ask Steve to send out a copy of the minutes <br /> Steve said he received an e mail on the Platte Valley drainage project and read the time <br /> line for the project. He is not sure on the bid letting date or the completion date. The <br /> county has not received a copy of the interlocal agreement he will check on it. They may <br /> look at an amendment to the interlocal regarding the request to have them do the right <br /> of way and the construction. <br /> Steve said that all of the contracted gravel has been hauled from the stock piles and <br /> they are doing the spot gravel now. There was a section on 110th Road that they <br /> graded and that was finished last Friday. <br /> 7. FACILITIES - A) UPDATE ON FIRE SUPPRESSION AND EGRESSES — Loren <br /> stated that on the last rain storm the egress door leaked. There was no damage to the <br /> carpet but it was wet. They will fix the leak but he wants to hold off on the next payment <br /> to make sure it is fixed. They are waiting on the glass for the window above the door <br /> the glass came in but it was too small so they will wait until both pieces come in to <br /> install it. He has asked Lacy to give him 24 hours notice if theyare not going to work so <br /> he can notify security. <br /> They have connected the main line to the fire security but have not tested it they will be <br /> doing that tonight to make sure there are no leaks. They should be able to do the walk <br /> through next week. They had to put in a door on the closet covering the fire <br /> suppression pipes but it was a 2 foot door but it matches so it saved about $2,000. <br /> B) DISCUSSION ON SECURITY AT FEDERAL BUILDING Loren stated that when he <br /> provided the estimates for the Federal Building remodel for the court and jury rooms he <br /> did not include the additional security costs included. It could be another $50,000. He <br /> will get an update cost and send it to the board. <br /> C) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON SURPLUS EQUIPMENT— Loren stated <br /> that during the inventory there is a list of equipment that does not work or they do not <br /> use and they need to dispose of this old equipment. <br /> 7 <br />
