Peterson stated he feels the county has been more than fair and it is the best interest of the county to move forward on this project. 8A DISCUSSION & CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH NDOT FOR DETOURING TRAFFIC TO COUNTY ROADS DURING CONSTRUCTION ON PROSSER SPUR S40d Steve stated this is a state project and replace a culvert. They are proposing an interlocal agreement to use Spur 40d to detour traffic to a gravel road. The state will take over the road and put up the necessary signs and they would be responsible for the maintenance. Steve stated he would like to do the maintenance and then bill the state they do a better job maintaining the gravel roads. Peterson made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the interlocal agreement and authorize the chair to sign. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and no one voted no. Motion carried. 8C) DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD CHAIR TO SIGN THE INTERLOCAL—This resolution authorizes the Chair to sign the agreement. Peterson made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve Resolution #21-023 to authorize the chair to sign.
