Quandt stated they needed to pull JIL from the job. <br /> Quandt stated pulling them off project needed to be an agenda item for next meeting on <br /> June 8, 2021. He stated the process needs to be done now and not drug out for another <br /> 2 years. He stated they have went above and beyond and their time is over. <br /> 9A) FACILITIES-DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING PLATTE VALLEY <br /> COMMUNICATIONS WAIVER FORM & ALLOW BOARD CHAIR TO SIGN-Loren <br /> Humphrey stated this waiver was sent by the 911 center to be signed by commissioners <br /> because Hall County has insurance on tower that is out in Alda and supported by the <br /> 911 center. <br /> Lancaster questioned signing this without having more information since liability will be <br /> switching. Lancaster asked that this item be pulled and brought back in 2 weeks after <br /> Sarah has time to review it. <br /> 9B) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING CHANGE ORDER WITH LACY <br /> CONSTRUCTION DEDUCT OF $7,524.09-Loren Humphrey stated when they cut into <br /> stone they did not have to remove as much as they thought. He stated the stairs on <br /> tower needed to be anchored to building better that would be additional $1,287.00, also <br /> replacing an existing side walk that has a lip for tripping purposes. <br /> He stated with the deductions and additions the change order is for a deduct of <br /> $7,524.09. <br /> Quandt made a motion to approve the change order and Bredthauer seconded the <br /> motion. Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, <br /> Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen all voted yes and none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> 10) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR <br /> ALFALFA LEASE AT CAAP-Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen stated this was <br /> just a continuation from last meeting to advertise and get bid set. She stated to set the <br /> bid for July 20, 2021 meeting with bids being due by July 19, 2021 at 5:00 pm <br /> Sorensen made a motion they needed to amend the lease from 3 years to 5 years. <br /> Richardson seconded the motion. Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane Richardson and Scott Sorensen all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> 15 APPROVE REGULAR CLAIMS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE GRAND <br /> GENERATION CENTER. Sorensen made motion to approve claims except the grand <br /> generation center Bredthauer seconded the motion. <br /> Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Gary Quandt, Ron Peterson, Jane <br /> Richardson and Scott Sorensen all voted yes and none voted no. Motion Carried. <br />
