2. The funding request from Hall County Board for the Grand Generation Center <br /> in FY 2022 remains at the current level of$19,125.00 with the allocation of <br /> these funds to help provide meals, Social activities, HyVee voucher program. <br /> Peterson made a Motion to approve and allocate the same amounts as last year and <br /> request for amounts to be ratified next meeting on June 8, 2021 Bredthauer seconded <br /> the motion. Karen Bredthauer, Butch Hurst, Pam Lancaster, Ron Peterson, Jane <br /> Richardson and Scott Sorensen all voted yes and Gary Quandt Voted No Motion <br /> Carried. <br /> Dana and Casey stated they are planning to open back up June 14, 2021 they did some <br /> painting while closed. The adult daycare will not open back up. They are bettering their <br /> rec room and got some new board members. <br /> Richardson stated she is looking forward to them opening back up. <br /> 8A) PUBLIC WORKS-DISCUSSION & CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE ACTION <br /> REGARDING BEAVER DAMS ON SILVER CREEK NEAR AIRPORT ROAD.-Steve <br /> Riehle stated there are some beaver dams, but not as bad as they were in 2019 and <br /> 2020, he does not think it will destroy road or bridge. Mr. Riehle stated to take these <br /> dams out they would have to have home owner's permission. <br /> Sorensen stated they should just stay out of it as they are on private property if no harm <br /> will be done to roads or bridges. He stated no action needed to be taken at this time. <br /> 8B) PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE-Steve Riehle said culverts for airport road arrived last <br /> week. He stated they did have to remove a beaver dam and put in triple pipe. <br /> Riehle stated they are finishing up gravel project it comes to end and the change order <br /> contract price will be cheaper. <br /> Mr. Riehle stated the shed doors are in but still waiting on openers. <br /> Mr. Riehle stated Surveyor Scott Peters looked at Airport road and there is nothing to be <br /> gained by raising road 2 foot. <br /> Mr. Riehle went over some of the asphalt smoothness reports and did not like the <br /> numbers. Many of the roads have worse conditions and more bumps. When JIL spot <br /> grinds it seems to cause more issues and more bumps. <br /> Bredthauer stated the conditions are getting worse and does not believe JIL should do <br /> 1-R project or they will end up with the same problem. <br /> Quandt stated how much longer do they have to babysit, and how do we fix the problem <br /> or are we just stuck with bad bumpy roads he questioned. <br /> Riehle stated they would need to redo the whole road not just spots and put inch of <br /> asphalt on it. <br />
