Discussion was held that <br /> department could use the building & grounds credit card. <br /> Richardson expressed concern o the amount of the purchases and said there should be <br /> a maximum amount and make a limit on the number of cards. <br /> Doug Drudik stated that some of his purchases from West Law and Version Wireless <br /> would be larger amounts, sometime the West Law for 3 months is closer to $12,000 or <br /> $13,000 so he uses his credit card to make sure it is paid in the 30 days and some are <br /> easier to be paid by credit cards. He also noted that he attempted to set up a tax <br /> exempt account and the fee was higher than paying the sales tax. He had an issue <br /> when other departments used his card and if not paid it would cause finance charges on <br /> the whole account. It sometimes more of a maintenance issue. <br /> Lancaster suggested that they could handle the county credit card and let the larger <br /> department handle their own. <br /> Lancaster suggested having Kim handle the county credit card leaving the big 4 alone <br /> and the county commissioners establish a credit card with a $1000.00 limit and have <br /> Kim handle those occasional purchases. <br /> Peterson stated that on reoccurring expenses they could use their card. Sorensen <br /> stated he agrees with Ron and he suggested setting a $5,000.00 limit.
