Motion carried <br /> Discussion was held on the redistricting and Tracy stated there will be some legislative <br /> changes and the city and county have districts that need to be addressed. She has <br /> recommendations for changing the lines. She also expressed concern on the ballot <br /> splits but by change some of the precinct lines that would help. The only thing is she <br /> will have to send mailers to everyone because of the possible changes. <br /> 30. DISCUSSION AND ACTION REGARDING ADMINISTRATION BUILDING WEST <br /> ENTRANCE — County employees have ask when the doors are to be opened so this <br /> was brought forward. <br /> Richardson made a motion and Quandt seconded to open the Administration Building <br /> west doors. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt Peterson, Richardson and Sorensen <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS - <br /> Bredthauer noted the letter that was sent to the board members regarding the NIRMA <br /> Assist grant. <br /> Richardson reported that Stuhr Museum is offering a 15 month membership, you can <br /> access this on line, call or go to the museum to purchase one. . She also encourage <br /> everyone to go to the buildings and look at the trees. <br /> Sorensen stated he attended the NRD meeting regarding the flood project. He reported <br /> that they are planning a drop structure on the west side Schauppsville Road for the <br /> Prairie Morris Creek project. The cot will be $875,000 75% is already paid and CPNRD <br /> will pick up the rest of the cost. He also noted that CPNRD offers trees for shelter belts. <br /> Richardson stated that Chris Hostetler stated how grateful he is for the support from <br /> Hall County that he received through the budget. They have made application for <br /> sizable grants and he always mentions the support of the county. <br /> Lancaster thanked Sheriff Conrad for being present during the meetings and thanked <br /> Kim for her help this year. <br /> 21. DISCUSSION AND ACTION TO MODIFY PUBLIC HEARING DATE SET FOR <br /> SMART SOIL. DATE WAS SET FOR JANUARY 12, 2021 THERE IS NO MEETING <br /> THAT DATE- Quandt said they had originally suggested January 12, 2021 for this <br /> hearing but this is costing the community money. He would like to keep it on January <br /> 12, 2020. Sarah sent the board an E mail regarding the January date and there have <br /> been no notices sent out. <br /> Richardson ask if there is any addition cost and there would not be Marla stated that it <br /> has to be advertised for either meeting. <br /> 11 <br />
