Lancaster ask what he is recommending he suggested grinding setting a time line and <br /> the access a penalty. <br /> Bredthauer stated she has not driven the road recently but the grinding has taken the <br /> surface down to the original asphalt and that is not pretty. Steve also noted that there <br /> was a section that they ground that they had to patch. <br /> Quandt stated Steve has worked for 2 years on this we paid for a new road and should <br /> not have second class road. Steve has spent about 100 hours on this. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Sorensen seconded to go on notice and to file with the <br /> bonding company regarding JIL. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson, <br /> Richardson and Sorensen all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Peterson questioned what this will accomplish. <br /> Quandt stated we have to get this started we paid for a new road and want them to <br /> continue to do the grinding but may go after the money. <br /> Sorensen note this is a good way to drive action and what we have to do to get this <br /> started. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Sorensen seconded to come up with a plan in two weeks <br /> with JIL to achieve a good road. Motion carried. <br /> Steve stated he will look at the specs, they will need to get a good measure of the road <br /> To see it complies. <br /> Quandt thanked Steve for everything he has done he has gone above and beyond on <br /> this. <br /> 8 FACILITIES — DISCUSSION REGARDING ALTERNTE BID OF $60,400.00 FROM <br /> MID PLAINS FOR COURTHOUSE ROTUNDA PAINTING —The bid was awarded to <br /> Mid Plains for the fire suppression but the alternate bid was for the rotunda painting. It <br /> has been discussed to do this after the fire suppression was installed because the <br /> scaffolding would be up. By doing this would save time and costs. <br /> Lancaster questioned what the percentage of the painting the contractor or the architect <br /> would receive. They get a percentage of the total bid. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated he is not sure he know that the contractor and the architect do <br /> receive a percentage.
