There are 50 other student that are interested and it <br /> is good to see them interested. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the appointment of Carly Gartner <br /> as an election worker. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON KENO ADMINISTRATOR RECONCILIATION OF <br /> ACCOUNTS AND COMPENSATION - Lancaster stated that Kim has been working with Stacey <br /> Ruzicka and Brad Fegley and they have agreed that Stacey will oversee the keno reconciliation <br /> so half of the compensation will go to Stacy and half of it will go to Kim. Stacey will receive <br /> $52.50 for the oversite and assistance in preparation. <br /> Hartman questioned why the county employees cannot play keno. Lancaster stated that the <br /> board is in charge of the decision making and cannot play she noted you could play in Doniphan <br /> they have a different administrator. Richardson also questioned the rule. <br /> The board ask Sarah Carstensen to look at the Nebraska gaming rules. And come back in 2 <br /> weeks. <br /> Quant made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the keno administration for Kim <br /> Dugan at half of the compensation and Stacey Ruzicka at half. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chair Lancaster called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY— DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING A PERSONNEL <br /> MATTER - Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen stated that she talked to Matt with Mid- <br /> American Benefits and to determine the definition of an active employee. It was clarified that an <br /> active employee is a regular employee that is using benefit like sick leave or vacation leave they <br /> are still an active employee. She stated they are still waiting on the letter from the doctor on this <br /> issue. <br /> 5.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING TERMINATION OF LEASE WITH <br /> HORNADY FAMILY LIMITED — Sarah Carstensen stated she talked to Hornady regarding the <br /> documents. They contacted her requesting advice and she cannot do that, since then they may <br /> have worked with an attorney and she would be able to address it. The county has also <br /> received a check for the final payment. <br /> Lancaster it is necessary to make sure the paperwork is complete. <br /> 10:30 A. m.
