when he checked with the County Treasurer they did not find any vehicles licensed in Hall <br /> County. <br /> Chair Lancaster called for public participation <br /> Pat O'Hara 5307 south Engleman stated they have been a good neighbor and even offered to <br /> help fill sandbags during the flood. But they ae to have 20 trucks registered. He stated that this <br /> should not be swept under the rug and as a patron of the county the county should be <br /> reimbursed for what was not paid. This is the only revenue for damage to the roads. They are <br /> a great neighbor but this is part of the conditional use permit and they should be 20 ton trucks <br /> Hartman stated if they run in Hall County they should be licensed I Hall County. They may not <br /> have land in Howard County. <br /> A representative from Werner Construction stated that he was familiar with the conditional use <br /> permit and stated they may be under Deweese Sand & Gravel, 129 East 2nd, and Hastings, NE <br /> and suggested looking under that name. He agrees what is in the conditional use permit should <br /> be followed and he will not make excuses. He will get this resolved, they have been making <br /> strides to be a good neighbor and the conditions need to be met. <br /> Bredthauer stated that the vehicles have to be licensed where they sleep at night. <br /> Sarah Carstensen stated the resolution needs to be updated and she get direction from the <br /> board on the renewal. <br /> Chair Lancaster called for public participation <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to close the public hearing. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried <br /> 9. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT— <br /> Hartman stated that the drainage issues on the conditional use permits is not that bad but they <br /> need to look at it. He stated they need to have all of the trucks licensed in Hall County. <br /> Hartman made a motion that all of the trucks should be licensed in Hall County. <br /> Peterson stated they should do some checking to make sure they are follow the terms of the <br /> conditional use permit before it is approved. <br /> Lancaster stated if the terms are appropriate regarding the drainage issues and the issue of <br /> licensing the trucks need to be looked at and come back in 2 weeks. <br /> Pam if the terms are appropriate drainage issues and truck needs to be looked at and come <br /> back in 2 weeks <br /> Hartman withdrew his motion. <br /> 4 <br />
