RATIFY BY COUNTY BOARD —A) DOUG DRUDIK PURCHASE FOR COURT <br /> IT EQUIPMENT - the IT department is on a tight schedule to set up the computers for <br /> the first court dates at the Federal Building. This is to be ratified by the county board. <br /> B) SHERIFF CONRAD PURCHASE OF SCANNER FOR COURT PURPOSES IN <br /> FEDERAL BUILDING — sheriff Conrad stated they have found an old scanner they can <br /> purchase for $3,500.00 and get it here before it is needed in the Federal Building. <br /> C) DOUBLE LOCK SECURITY ONE PERSON FOR ONE WEEK TO ASSIST WITH <br /> ADMINISTRATION BUILDING — after discussion at the zoom meeting is was suggested <br /> to have one more person from Double Lock =Security for 1 more week to help with the <br /> lines. Mr. Humphrey stated that Double Lock is in the inside of the building and his <br /> department has been rotating staff to move people in and out. It has been going <br /> smoothly. <br /> Richardson ask the cost for Double Lock and it is $19.00 an hour. <br /> Lancaster stated she is comfortable regarding the expenses the Governor called and <br /> assured her that there is money for the counties. Hall County was hit hard by Covid 19 <br /> and should be reimbursed. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to ratify the purchase of the IT <br /> equipment and the scanner for the Federal Building and retaining Double Lock Security. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 15.DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING COUNTY <br /> BUILDINGS/SECURITY - Lancaster stated that at the Thursday Zoom meeting <br /> discussion was held regarding the need for security. The original thought was end this <br /> after July 4th but there was concern from driver's testing if the governor pulled his <br /> executive order they may need additional time to address the back log for licenses and <br /> also for the license plate renewals. There were also the people with the petitions at the <br /> doors so it may not be necessary to have them. Double Lock has been working on the <br /> inside and building and grounds has helped outside. <br /> Lancaster ask if the meet on zoom weekly and make the decision on a week to week <br /> basis. It has been going well and the public has been satisfied. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to address building security on a <br /> week to week basis. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7 <br />
