Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> B) UPDATE ON PLATTE VALLEY WEED MANAGEMENT AREA Mr. Schultz <br /> distributed information to the board members this has been since 2004. They currently <br /> are starting an endowment fund to support river spraying for future years and <br /> generations. This is to keep the river channels clean from Columbus to Lake <br /> McConahey the Weed department has been doing some spraying f 300 to 400 acres. <br /> He explained that the river spraying covers the Platte River and the Loup River in <br /> Howard County. <br /> 9.DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE EMERGENCY <br /> MANAGEMENT CLAIM FOR $55,631.21 THAT INCLUDES TRUE UP BILLING <br /> $29,053.54 FROM 2018-2019 - JON ROSENLUND — Jon was present and stated he <br /> worked with Kim Dugan, and the City Finance Department and in 2018 there was an <br /> accounting error. This happened because our fiscal years are offset and when they <br /> make purchases in his last quarter if doesn't get paid for in the county's new fiscal year <br /> and he also stated that there was revenue that the city did not credit so the amount <br /> owed is $50 226.21. They need to follow the interlocal agreement. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the payment of <br /> $50,226.21 to the City for Emergency Management. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 8. DISCUSSION POSSIBLE ACTION APPROVING REGIONAL PLANNING CLAIM <br /> FOR JUNE 2020 FOR $13,932.92 (OVER THE BUDGET BY $1,518.83) — Brian <br /> Schultz with the city informed the county that the City has missed a payment of <br /> $2,003.26 so the correct payment is $9,810.70. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve the payment of <br /> $9,810.72to Regional Planning. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 13.11:30 A.M.
