5 C- EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL-UPDATE ON BUILDING & GROUNDS <br /> DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE THAT HAS BEEN ON UNPAID LEAVE REGARDING <br /> WELLNESS/ABILITY TO DO THE JOB-Quandt made a motion to go in executive <br /> session at 11:56 am Bredthauer seconded the motion. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br /> Carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion to go out of executive session at 12:29 pm Bredthauer <br /> seconded it they will bring item back in 2 weeks and have discussion on regular <br /> agenda. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all <br /> voted yes, none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> Back in Regular meeting at 12:30 pm <br /> 5 (D) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION APPROVING HIRING AN ATTORNEY & <br /> HEARING OFFICER FOR CORRECTIONS GREIVEANCE-Carstensen stated that <br /> going back to this grievance that the Board chair is to select another board member to <br /> be present for the grievance, Carstensen wanted that information so she can get <br /> meeting scheduled soon <br /> 5 ( E) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION APPROVING HIRING AN ATTORNEY & <br /> HEARING OFFICER FOR PUBLIC WORKS/ROAD GRIEVANCE-Carstensen stated <br /> that with the road department contract agreement it states that the Board chair select <br /> two board members to present in hearing. <br /> Lancaster stated that Quandt would sit in on grievance for the Corrections with her and <br /> for the Public Works she stated Ron Peterson and Gary Quandt would assist her. <br /> Quandt stated that there should be a sign made with some verbage for parking lot at <br /> admin building and over to the County Attorney building regarding kids and bicycles in <br /> parking lots. Quandt just asked for an update in 2 weeks so they can move forward with <br /> this project. <br /> 11. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION REGARDING LETTER FROM JERRY <br /> BERGGREN-Lancaster stated she had received the letter suggesting this might be a <br /> good time to do the project of the interior steps in the court house. She stated she <br /> wanted to bring it to the Board with majority of them being concerned about spending <br /> money on projects that are not absolute vital. <br /> Quandt stated they do not have money to move forward with this project <br /> Richardson stated the steps are warped and are still a liability and are still a problem. <br /> Hartman agreed they needed to get fixed. <br /> NO ACTION TAKEN <br />
