Richardson made a motion for the 7.5% medical increase Peterson seconded <br /> the motion. Bredthauer, Hurst, Hartman, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes, none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> 4. Discussion & Possible Action Regarding Increase by Each County Office <br /> for Operating Expense —Audit recommends 0% increase, payroll cost will <br /> go up, but not operating cost. <br /> Quandt made a motion to keep budget expenses 0% Peterson seconded. <br /> Bredthauer, Hurst, Hartman, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson <br /> all voted yes, none voted no. Motion Carried <br /> 5. Discussion & Possible Action Regarding Retirement Unfunded Liability- <br /> SickNacation-Audit recommends decreasing the budget to $150 per <br /> employee who is full time to help account for leave and large payouts. <br /> Quandt made a motion Richardson seconded to decrease budgets to <br /> $150 per employee. Bredthauer, Hurst, Hartman, Quandt, Lancaster, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes, none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> 6. Discussion & Possible Action Regarding Unemployment—Audit <br /> Committee recommends continuing to budget $5.00 per employee. <br /> Quandt made a motion to continue to budget $5.00 per employee <br /> Bredthauer seconded. Bredthauer, Hurst, Hartman, Quandt, Lancaster, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7. Approve Budget Letter-Brad went over the budget letter to distribute to <br /> department heads. Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to <br /> give department heads the budget letter. Bredthauer, Hurst, Hartman, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 8. Discussion & Possible Action Regarding Increase by Outside Entities <br /> A. Last Year's Letter—Audit Committee recommended the same as <br /> previous years. Hurst wanted the wording to be changed to substantially <br /> less this year, he felt they should have heads up that funds may be a lot let <br /> less this year. Hurst made a motion to change wording on letter Hartman <br /> seconded the motion. Bredthauer, Hurst, Hartman, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> B. Meeting Schedule- <br /> 9. Budget Calendar Quandt wanted August 14 date to be changed to August 13 <br /> from a Friday to a Thursday. Quandt made the motion Bredthauer seconded the <br /> motion to change the date from August 14 to August 13. Bredthauer, Hartman, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson all voted yes, Hurst voted no. Richardson <br /> abstained. Motion Carried <br /> 10. Other Items <br />
