Quandt-stated the vehicles that are parked in Hall County should be registered in Hall <br /> County, rather it's five or twenty or whatever. We should be getting the tax money he <br /> stated. <br /> Carstensen stated she believes operations have changed and they do not park vehicles <br /> out at that location anymore, she has not been out there to do a survey to see how often <br /> they are parked out there or not, it would be hard to tell during work day work hours, the <br /> indication from Terry was they do not house vehicles in that location at all. <br /> Lancaster-stated there is not a way to monitor where they primarily are at, that can <br /> change day to day. <br /> Peterson-stated State statue applies we don't have control <br /> Lancaster-stated we have to take their word we can't follow them around. <br /> Carstensen- stated they are asking for permit to pump sand and gravel so that is what <br /> we are addressing. <br /> Lancaster-stated it would be awful to have anything other than a gravel situation with <br /> the kids close by <br /> Quandt-stated to put off for two weeks, Lancaster and Carstensen agreed. <br /> Carstensen will work with Terry with Werner and get more information and address <br /> conditional use in two weeks. <br /> 6c FACILITIES-DISCUSSION REGARDING LEASING OFFICE SPACE AT THE <br /> FEDERAL BUILDING-Loren Humphrey stated that as of now it is off because they <br /> found another place to lease, but that Ron Peterson had brought this to his attention, he <br /> showed the library foundation board the space over there, then he checked in with the <br /> National Park service they don't have an issues with leasing some of the building, they <br /> would like to see the area used, he stated that all the county would have to do is write a <br /> letter amending the use plan they first submitted when they took the building over, and <br /> then all the monies taken in from the building from the lease would have to go back into <br /> the building, Mr. Humphrey stated it would have to be a book keeping situation to keep <br /> track of monies coming in and what expenses are accrued, he stated they would want <br /> to know if any modifications would need to be done to the building . He stated no one at <br /> this time will be using but to keep in mind for later down the road if someone would want <br /> and if the county board would entertain a short term lease at that time. <br /> Bredthauer questioned that with this lease with the cost or money going back into the <br /> building does that include cleaning cost? Bredthauer stated we would have to look at <br /> that or is it going to put more wear and tear on our building she questioned? <br /> Humphrey stated anytime you go out for a lease you would have to write in there what <br /> you wanted, Mr. Humphrey stated in this situation they were going to take care of their <br />
