Mr. Humphrey
stated they could consider just patching the roof. Richardson stated that Jerry Berggren stated it
was underutilized and the overall construction is not that bad.
Bredthauer stated that it is a block building and the heating and cooling is not efficient and some
of these building may have served their time.
Hartman stated they need to look at saving money we do not have extra money as far as
building a new building we have the storage.
Lancaster expressed concern on the cost of a new roof. We would have to remove the
asbestos anyway. Loren will check into the cost of repairing the roof.
Hurst expressed concern on the storage or are we saving junk. They need to look at getting rid
of it.
Lancaster stated some of it is equipment but the "stuff' needs to be addressed.
10:30 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting
10:59 a.m. recessed the Board of Corrections meeting for the quarterly jail tour
Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to go into the executives session regarding
4 C) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING ELECTION SECURITY
13 B EXECUTIVE SESSION PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Lancaster stated there are 2 reason for an executive session to protect the public interest or to
prevent needless harm or injury to an individual.
4 C) EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING ELECTION SECURITY Tracy Overstreet and Sheriff
Conrad will be included in the executive session.
6
