Bredthauer questioned how much dirt will need to be moved and expressed concern on the <br /> county scrapers they are old and not in good shape. The HOA may have to address hiring that <br /> work done. They will get phase 1 of the project moving and get bids for the culverts. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to move forward with the project with the <br /> HOA and Hall County. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Discussion was held and they will address an interlocal agreement. <br /> Lancaster noted that Hall County is responsible for our roads and Sarah also stated we are <br /> responsible for the maintenance of county roads. <br /> 9 DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON COUNTY SURVEYORS INVOLVEMENT IN AMICK <br /> ACRES PROJECT - Lancaster stated that she talked to Scott Peters regarding his surveyor <br /> work and ask that he keep track of his hours and bring it to the board for approval this will be <br /> part of the in kind work. Scott has been surveying the ditches and the culverts and once it is <br /> done it is put in according to the specifications. Steve stated that they look at the inlet and the <br /> outlet and it is done according to the specifications and Scott sets the stakes. It will be within 1/2 <br /> inch of the specs. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the County Surveyor to keep track <br /> of his hours on the Amick Acre project. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Discussion was held if the HOA needs additional surveying they will have to hire someone. <br /> Richardson suggested that Steve cannot come to every board meeting and Peterson agreed it <br /> takes time to prepare. It was suggested that he come once a month unless there is a special <br /> item it takes time away from what he needs to do. <br /> Discussion was held that Mr. Riehle come once a month starting in February. <br /> Bredthauer expressed concern on the condition of the man lift it has been tagged and cannot be <br /> used. Steve stated that sometimes they work with Southern Power for a favor and they help the <br /> county out. Bredthauer expressed concern that the county may need a truck to do tree <br /> trimming. Steve stated that the shop foreman is looking into this. <br /> 4 COUTY ATTORNEY DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING RFP FOR <br /> PROSECUTOR CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & SET BID OPENING — Deputy County <br /> Attorney Sarah Carstensen provided a 138 page RFP to the board members for this bid <br /> opening. She would like to set the bid opening for January 21, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. and come <br /> back the same day with a recommendation to get this project going. The bids will be due Friday <br /> at 4:30 p.m. <br /> Lancaster noted this was an extensive RFP and it summarized the import factor that it has to <br /> integrate with Motorola and Spillman. Sarah noted that this could reduce staffing and now with <br /> the E Citations they would not have to duplicate information. Sarah used a couple other RFP <br /> forms one was from the National Attorney's Associations. They need to know how this will <br /> affect IT and she hopes they will get more options to secure the best system. <br /> 8 <br />
