Quandt ask about a performance bond and this is a software program and it is not needed. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to move forward and set the bid opening for <br /> January 21, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. with bids due January 20, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 11 FACILITIES A DISCUSSION & POSSBILE ACTION ON AMENDMENT TO CUSTODIAL <br /> CONTRACT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING — Loran Humphrey was present and <br /> stated that he has not completed the amendment to the agreement for the custodial contract he <br /> has contacted them regarding reducing the cost by having the departments clean their own <br /> offices. It would be $700.00 less monthly or about $8,400 a year. The offices in this building do <br /> not have a lot of public in them just employees. <br /> Peterson noted the agreement with the Plaza Building they no longer clean their offices. Loran <br /> stated that it would not affect them. He wants to have the amendment ready for the next <br /> meeting and start in January. This would be up to the board. <br /> Quandt expressed concern that they do not do a good job in the offices. Then the county could <br /> go out for bids and maybe there would be a better response. <br /> Lancaster suggested that they may want to make it county wide there may be more interest. <br /> Discussion was held and the city just has the common areas cleaned. Mr. Humphrey stated we <br /> can bid it that way he can also check with the city. Discussion was held and he will bring it back <br /> I January. <br /> 11 b DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON THE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM FOR THE <br /> ANNEX BUILDING STORAGE — Mr. Humphrey included a letter from the Fire Marshall <br /> informing the county that they need to address the fire suppression system in the storage area <br /> in the annex. It previously had suspended ceilings and some of those have been removed so <br /> the sprinklers need to be changed. He ask if this could be done after the first of the year and <br /> was told to change it or move out. He estimated it would be about $4,000 to $5000. If the <br /> county would decide to move any walls or do any renovations then the sprinklers would have to <br /> be changed a second time. <br /> This will be put back on the agenda in January for a recommendation. <br /> 110 DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON RICH & SONS RV WANTING TO GIVE <br /> CUSTOMER COUPONS FOR ONE FREE NIGHT OF CAMPING AT HALL COUNTY PARK - <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated that Rich & Sons is offering to pay for a free night of camping for people to <br /> stay at Hall County Park when they come to Rich & Sons for business. Loran stated that this <br /> would be subject to availability. <br /> Hartman questioned if this was legal and Sarah stated we would still be collecting the fee. It <br /> would be for people coming in from out of town and there would not be that many. Loran will <br /> get more information and come back to the board and this agreement will be in writing. <br /> Quandt ask if there has been any more information regarding posting the parking lots.
