Mr. Riehle stated he <br /> wanted to let the board know this is being discussed. <br /> SPRING 2020 ASPHALT RESURFACING <br /> Mr. Riehle reviewed the 2018 fall resurfacing <br /> • Holling Road completed on September 27, 2018 <br /> • Wood river Road scheduled or computerized profile-graph this week <br /> • On R Road completed on July 29, 2019 and scheduled for computerized profilo- <br /> graph this week <br /> • Old Potash Hwy resurfaced <br /> • Added Engleman Road by change order and completed <br /> • Also short section of Airport Road <br /> Steve stated the cost of the profile graph is $2,300.00 <br /> Bredthauer ask about the ditches on One R Road and Steve stated they will work on them this <br /> week. <br /> Steve noted that the Village of Cairo is holding fund from JIL to fix that and the contractor will <br /> have to pay. J.I.L. also has to seal Wood River Road. <br /> Hartman ask if the high water table could have affected this but Steve stated it was their <br /> machine. <br /> Steve reviewed the 2020 resurfacing and the potential project from the 1 & 6 and he also <br /> reviewed the joint resurfacing with the City of Grand Island. <br /> He is recommending the following road for the 2020 resurfacing <br /> • 1/2 mile of Schimmer Drive east of Engleman Road <br /> • 1/2 mile of Blaine Street north of Schimmer Drive <br /> • 2 miles of 13th street between 60th Road and Engleman Road <br /> • Meadow Lane Subdivision <br /> These proposed projects would be $570,000 and he has budgeted $569,000. He also reviewed <br /> a proposed interlocal agreement with the City on the Schimmer Drive and Blaine Streets. He <br /> also suggested to have the bid openings in February or March for the 13th Street and Meadow <br /> lane projects. <br /> 11A) PUBLIC WORKS —A) DISCUSSION & CONSIDERATION OF APPROVE TO PURCHASE <br /> CRACK SEALER USING STATE OF NEBRASKA CONTRACT 144290C —This is used to rout <br /> and seal the cracks in asphalt pavement for the pavement maintenance. Steve stated that the <br /> Crafco sealer uses melt able packaging and may be causing the lines on the tar kettle to plug. <br /> They usually partner with another county and Adams County would like to do so and they would <br /> bill Hall County for our share. <br /> 10 <br />
