The county equipment or funding is the <br /> decision of the County Board. <br /> Bredthauer ask about the ditches and right of way and Steve stated they will need some right- <br /> of-way and a temporary construction easement. They will also need to widen some of the road <br /> ditches and some are private roads. <br /> Steve stated he has talked to the NRD and currently Crane Trust has a drainage project that will <br /> turn some of the water into the river. They are looking at surveying the road ditches and <br /> cleaning them out. <br /> Lancaster expressed concern that there are written agreements to insure that everyone knows <br /> what is addressed. The Home Owners Association is working with an attorney to get the <br /> agreements. <br /> Richardson noted that was already in the proposed plans. <br /> Bredthauer stated that it is important to get an agreement with the Wolbach Family. <br /> Quandt stated he is in favor of a partnership with the county and the association. He expressed <br /> concern if the NRD or the Corp of Engineers would show the project down and Steve stated he <br /> did not think so there may be other agencies that may affect it. <br /> Gary Hedman 349 Sunset Doniphan expressed concern that they need to get this moving. <br /> They're sandbagging as a precaution for next spring. This is the natural flow of the water to the <br /> river and they need the easements. He encourage the board to make some commitment for the <br /> project. The need to get this moving. <br /> Hartman stated they should be able to find the money people are concerned. They need to <br /> address this in 2 weeks. <br /> 8 <br />
