16. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS-There will be a meeting Friday July 26 at <br /> college park to go over college park budget. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY—DISCUSSION & ACTION REGARDING VEGA LAWSUIT-Sarah <br /> Carstensen asked the Board to hire out an Attorney for this lawsuit that is against the Hall <br /> County Jail director, inmate is being housed but under authority of immigration, Carstensen <br /> stated she would like to hire Ms. Bourne if she is not available then would like board to hire out <br /> in this suit. Quandt made a motion to hire out for council for the Vega Lawsuit, Bredthauer <br /> seconded the motion. Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and Peterson all voted yes, none <br /> voted no. Richardson and Hartman were absent. Motion carried. <br /> 17. APPROVE BIWEEKLY PAY CLAIMS &APPROVE REGULAR CLAIMS-Lancaster noted the <br /> board received the board pre approval list that is scanned to the board members. She noted <br /> that they are looking at the claims and doing a much better job. <br /> Bredthauer made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the regular claims and bi-weekly <br /> pay claims .Bredthauer, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt and Peterson all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Richardson and Hartman were absent.
