Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to draft a letter to be signed by the Chair <br /> concerning the County's interest of being involved on the Veterans' Home site in Grand Island. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 27. EXECUTIVE SESSION — PERSONNEL Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded <br /> to go into executive session regarding personnel. There are two reasons for an executive <br /> session to protect the public interest and to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 12:42 p.m. executive session <br /> 1:02 p.m. Quandt made a motion and Hurst seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> No other subjects were discussed no votes were taken and no action was taken. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, and Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Motion carried. <br /> 22. Quandt made a motion and Richardson <br /> seconded to set the date for the special meeting for the Board Administrative Assistant for April <br /> 24, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and <br /> Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY — UPDATE ON DOMINIC DECOUX - Deputy County <br /> Attorney Sarah Carstensen stated she talked to Dominic Decoux and provided him with the <br /> information and the state statute that will allow him to amend his personal property tax <br /> schedule. He has submitted a new schedule and it allows 25 days to review it. This has <br /> been resolved. <br /> Letter from Joe Kelly United States Attorney U S Department of Justice — Mr. Joe Kelly sent a <br /> letter to the Halo County Board stating that the U.S. Department of Justice approved his request <br /> for a new full-time prosecutor in the Lincoln office. This person will perform all of the duties <br /> handled by the special assistant U.S Attorney prosecutors. <br /> 13 <br />
