Bredthauer noted that all of the machines have various options and this is for a basic machine. <br /> Then if there are options that can be decided. Steve stated that many times there are options <br /> but he comes back to the board regarding the options. The bid specifications are a basic <br /> machine. <br /> F PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE - Mr. Riehle stated that they had a grader stuck axle deep in the <br /> road. They could use some hard raid on some of the roads. There are cross boils and some of <br /> the dirt is dry. He noted that Lancaster County is having frost boils; they are using an auger to <br /> drill down through the frost and putting pure salt in the holes. He is curious to see how this <br /> works. Hartman questioned if there is a pipe and Steve said no just a hole and filled with salt. <br /> The water seeps into the salt and drains down. This is an experiment. <br /> Steve stated that FEMA met April 8th and there were a number of forms that have to be sorted <br /> through. They will schedule a meeting with Hall County and discuss the scope and what is <br /> eligible for the disaster recovery. There are a number of road that will qualify and would have to <br /> be completed by September 2020. If the project is under $3,200.00 then that project would be <br /> on our own. <br /> Lancaster stated that the county is getting a lot of information and the information from FEMA <br /> will be on the county website and any of the other information can be found on other sites. <br /> Hartman noted that he has had calls regarding the road and public works is responding to the <br /> calls so they are trying sometimes there isn't anything they can do but they know they are <br /> looking out for them. Lancaster said they are making the effort. Hartman noted the people in <br /> the country are happy they are addressing the issues. <br /> 11.10:45 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR LIQUOR LICENSE FOR WOOD RIVER GOLF <br /> COURSE - Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to open the public hearing. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Chair Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> The background check was made and the application information was included in the packet. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to close the public hearing. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 11.A APPROVE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR WOOD RIVER GOLF COURSE - Hartman made a <br /> motion and Quandt seconded to approve the liquor license for Wood River Golf Course. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 32 DISCUSSION &POSSIBEL ACTION REGARDING WEBSITE NOTICE FOR DISASTER <br /> VICTIMS. Lancaster stated that the county has been receiving numerous notices for assistance <br /> and suggested to put only the FEMA notice on the website. <br /> Peterson made a motion and Quandt seconded to only place FEMA notice on the website. <br /> 9 <br />
