The resolution has not been prepared Mr. Humphrey will work with Sarah to determine the <br /> conditions. <br /> BID OPENING ON THE SOUTH LOCUST FARM LEASE — The bids were reviewed. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to award the lease to Johnna Niedfeldt. <br /> Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> BID OPENING ON THE CAAP ALFALFA LEASE - Deputy County Attorney Sarah Carstensen <br /> stated she checked the state statutes and there was no reference to a tie on the bids. She also <br /> noted that the property cannot be sublet. <br /> Lancaster questioned if Sarah could contact the two bidders. Sarah stated she will do some <br /> research to see what can be done. <br /> Held a break 10:15 a.m. <br /> 10:30 a.m. Back in session <br /> 10.10:30 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMUSEMENT LICENSE FOR WOOD RIVER GOLF <br /> COURSE Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to open the public hearing for the <br /> amusement license for Wood River Golf Course. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, <br /> Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> County Clerk Marla Conley stated that an amusement license is required if the business is going <br /> to serve food and beverages. <br /> Chair Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to close the public hearing. Bredthauer, <br /> Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 10A APPROVE & AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN AMUSEMENT LICENSE <br /> Quandt made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve the amusement license for Wood <br /> River golf Course and authorize the Chair to sign. Bredthauer, Hartman, Hurst, Lancaster, <br /> Quandt, Peterson and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> F) PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE ON ROAD REPAIRS AND FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE <br /> A) DISCUSSION & CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF THE PURCHASE OF $24,350.60 <br /> OF CRUSHED CONCRETE FROM NITRO CONSTRUCTION INC. Steve Riehle was present <br /> and they have been using the crushed concrete for repairs to the roads damage from the <br /> flooding and the wet weather. They also used some the crushed concrete on the asphalt road <br /> for a temporary fix. The county till do many of the repairs but they may request permission to <br /> request bid for contractors to do the repair work after they meet with FEMA. Since this is an <br /> emergency he is requesting to waive the sealed bid process because they do not have time for <br /> sealed bids. He also noted that there are dollars in the asphalt budget because they have not <br /> started the Cairo east probed and there will be corrective action on the JIL project. <br /> 7 <br />
